Binar Futures are delighted to welcome Northern Star Resources as a Major Community Partner and the Principal Partner of the new NAIDOC Basketball Carnival. This three-year partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting Aboriginal youth in the Goldfields and Pilbara regions and creating meaningful connections through sport, with a special NAIDOC Basketball Tournament for Western Australian youth in Perth this July.

Since 2011, Binar have been active throughout WA empowering Aboriginal youth and have conducted multiple regional basketball tournaments for Western Australian youth since 2021. 

“NAIDOC is a celebration for many friends and family in the Aboriginal community and basketball has a unique way of bringing people together for a common purpose.  Binar’s values are about family, community and connection to country – something that Northern Star is also passionate about.  It is a great fit and we look forward to working with Northern Star starting with this very special event on the basketball and NAIDOC calendar.”

This NAIDOC Carnival is a joint venture between Binar Futures and Basketball WA as part of the overall NAIDOC celebrations.
