BBA Winter 2026 Junior Domestic Competition

Welcome to the Binar Basketball Association Junior Domestic Competition - a growing and vibrant competition proudly supporting young athletes across the Midland region and surrounds.

Our Competitions are based out of Swan Active Midland.

Junior Domestic games are played on weekday afternoons and evenings on a Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

Our U10 Mixed & ALL BOYS Competitions will break from July 4, 2026 - July 20, 2026.

Team Nomination Fee ($40.00): A non-refundable nomination fee per team.
Player Registration Fee ($190.00): A fee that applies for players registering to an independent team. This covers all weekly game fees.
Club Player Registration Fee: If you are registering to a club, please contact the Club Representative for their season fee structure.
BWA Affiliation Fee ($43.84): This mandatory Basketball WA fee provides 12 months of membership and insurance coverage.
BA Game Development Levy Fee ($5.61): A mandatory Basketball Australia levy providing 12 months of coverage and supporting basketball development.
PlayHQ Service Fee: A 1.49% PlayHQ service fee applies to all transactions to support ongoing platform improvements.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹-𝗶𝗻'𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸? A fill-in player is limited to participating in a maximum of two (2) games per season according to BWA regulations. Subsequently, they are obligated to officially register with both BWA and the BBA. Registration must be completed courtside via the tablet to ensure inclusion on the scoresheet. The player's name will be marked with an 'F' indicating their fill-in status.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗶𝘁? All forfeits must be made by email to the Competitions Team – comps@binar.org.au If a team accumulates three (3) forfeits in a season, they will be required to provide justification for why they should not be disqualified from the competition.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲/𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻? Late registrations are accepted, however, the player registration fee remains the full amount until halfway through the season. Player registrations close the week prior to the final six (6) rounds of the season to ensure the player is eligible for finals.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝘆? All players are required to wear their full game uniform on matchday, which includes a jersey, basketball shorts, and appropriate sporting attire (shoes and socks). Additionally, all players must adhere to BBA's Code of Conduct, which can be found under our Policies and Documents.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁? A player, coach, or team is entitled to offer feedback, file a complaint, or lodge a protest regarding the conduct of a competition match, the eligibility of any participating player, the behaviour of individuals involved, or the outcome of any competition match. Complaints or protests must be submitted to the BBA within forty-eight (48) working hours (equivalent to two business days) following the conclusion of the relevant match. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝘆? Please provide us with the appropriate medical note/forms, and we will process a refund for the remaining balance of your season fee.
