Binar Basketball Association – Girls Competition Revamp

Binar Basketball Association is proud to announce a major investment into our Girls Domestic Competition -a bold step forward in building the strongest and most competitive girls pathway in Western Australia.

We are intentionally committing significant resources to elevate the standard, structure and identity of female basketball in our region.

💫 What’s Changing?

This isn’t just another season - this is a complete revamp.

  • Reduced, eight-week high-quality season format

  • Brand new, exciting uniforms (at no cost) – giving our girls a strong identity and pride in representing their team

  • Dedicated High Performance Coaches overseeing teams

  • 6 teams per grade in:

    • U12 Girls

    • U14 Girls

    • U17 Girls

💫 Individual Registration Model

To remove the pressure of organising teams and ensure fairness and balance, all players will register as individuals, and the BBA will allocate athletes evenly across the six teams in each age group.

This ensures:

  • Balanced and competitive matchups

  • Equal access to quality coaching

  • A genuine development-focused environment

  • No stacked teams or uneven competitions

All WABL athletes are mandated to participate, reinforcing that this is the premier girls domestic competition in our pathway.
