Basketball Training Programs

At Binar, we are dedicated to fostering community engagement and supporting the development of young basketball players. We offer training sessions for ages 5 to 17, focusing on building fundamental skills in a positive and inclusive environment. Our programs are designed to help players of all levels improve their abilities, build confidence, and develop a love for the game.

FORD AUSSIE HOOPS

Ford Aussie Hoops is an entry-level basketball program for children designed by Basketball Australia to develop confidence and aptitude in children.

2024/25 Summer Program Information

Ages: 5 - 9 Yrs Old

When: Thursday Afternoons, 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Where: Swan Active, Midland

First Session Date: Thursday, October 17th

No Session: Thursday, October 31st

Last Session Before Christmas Break: Thursday, December 5th

Return Date Post Christmas Break: Thursday, February 13th

Last Session Date: Thursday, April 6th

Binar Registration Fee: $120.00

Basketball WA Fee: $10.18

Basketball Australia Fee: $4.48

Binar Ford Aussie Hoops Singlet: $30.00

Binar Ford Aussie Hoops Basketball: $25.00

DOMESTIC TRAINING

Binar's domestic training program is tailored to help young athletes sharpen the fundamental skills necessary for success in our domestic competition.

Term 3 Primary School Training

Ages: Year 1 - Year 6 Students

When: Tuesday Afternoons, 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Where: Swan Active, Midland

Fees: Absorbed in player registration for domestic

First Session Date: Tuesday, July 23rd

Last Session Date: Tuesday, September 10th

Term 3 High School Training

Ages: Year 7 - Year 12 Students

When: Tuesday Afternoons, 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Where: Swan Active, Midland

Fees: Absorbed in player registration for domestic

First Session Date: Tuesday, July 23rd

Last Session Date: Tuesday, September 10th

FRIDAY OPEN RUNS

Binar's Friday Runs are the perfect way for high school students to unwind and enjoy some pick-up basketball. Just show up, and we'll place you in a team for fun, low-pressure scrimmages. It's a great opportunity to play ball and make new friends. No need to sign up—just bring your love for the game and join the action!

Open Runs Term 3 Information

Ages: Year 7 - Year 12 Students

When: Friday Afternoons, 4:00pm - 5:15pm

Fees: Absorbed in player registration for domestic
